Balachandar Subramanian beat high seed Karthik Karunakaran 4-6, 7-6(4), [10-5] within the semifinals of the National wheelchair tennis championship on the Indore Tennis Club on Wednesday.
In the ultimate, Subramanian will play his doubles companion and second seed Shekar Veerasswamy who eased previous Sathasivam Kannupayan for the lack of two video games.
In the doubles remaining, Subramanian and Veeraswamy will play high seeds Mariappan Durai and Karunakaran.
In the ladiesβs part, high seed K.P. Shilpa received her third and final league match towards Sheranthi Thomas 9-1 to emerge champion within the four-player discipline. She had earlier overwhelmed Prathima Rao and Nalina Kumari.
