Shadow overseas minister Bambos Charalambous has been "administratively suspended" from the celebration pending an investigation - which means he has misplaced the whip and can sit within the Commons as an unbiased MP.

Mr Charalambous, the MP for Enfield Southgate, stated he was "aware that there is an allegation that requires investigation by the Labour Party".
