Two other midfielders linked with Barca are Real Sociedad's Martin Zubimendi and Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich. Zubimendi is a reported target for Arsenal, with Spanish outlet AS claiming early in May {that a} deal was 'very close' to being struck with the Gunners.

Xavi once more confirmed he's a fan of each Zubimendi and Kimmich. He stated: "Zubimendi and Kimmich are tremendous prime gamers of their place.

"Of course, Kimmich has a long contract at Bayern so the only chance would be to negotiate with them. This depends on the club."
