The grieving sons of British billionaire Hamish Harding on Saturday paid tribute to the “inspirational” adventurer.

Mr Harding, 58, was one in all 5 victims within the Titan submersible which imploded close to the Titanic wreck website within the Atlantic per week in the past.

Sons Rory and Giles issued a press release by their father’s agency Action Aviation.

One mentioned: “My dad was a tenacious, hard-working businessman but, most importantly, he was the best father I could have ever asked for.

“He inspired me more than anyone will ever know, taught me things I’ll never forget, and he meant everything to me. My dad is gone but I will never forget him.”

Mr Harding’s different son added: “He constantly sought to be the best man he could be and did nothing halfway. His loss will be mourned not only by myself and my family but everyone who had the pleasure to meet him.”

Mr Harding died alongside father and son Shahzada, 48, and Suleman Dawood, 19; Stockton Rush, 61 – CEO of Oceangate, which owned the Titan – and French diver Paul-Henri Nargeolet, 77. US Coast Guard Rear Admiral John Mauger mentioned the boys died in an “incredibly unforgiving environment” and the implosion means it's unlikely the our bodies might be discovered.

His feedback got here after the launch of two investigations – one by Canadian mounted police and the opposite by a US staff. The Canadians say they can't rule out foul play.

On Saturday investigators boarded Titan’s help ship, the Polar Prince, after it returned to St John’s, Newfoundland. Family members of the victims are on board.

Anybody can imagine that it’s difficult, the circumstances they have been under for the last few days and we have to understand that’s going to affect... particularly the families who have lost loved ones.”
