A vine caller has recommended Boris Johnson "forgot about his own country" because the Prime Minister's document was opened for debate on the dialogue present on Monday. The caller, Sylvia from Durham, acknowledged Mr Johnson had performed lots for Ukraine however identified the numerous crises which no face Britons at residence. 

Sylvia advised Jeremy Vine: "I don't believe that he got the vaccine done.

"I consider that the medical folks obtained that performed. 

"I don't believe that he is a nice person, I think he's a liar and yes, he did a lot for that whole country [Ukraine], but he forgot about his own country.

"And lots of people in that nation at the moment are struggling on his arms."

Boris Johnson and Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky will "keep in shut contact as pals" when the Prime Minister's tenure draws to a close, Downing Street has said.

The leaders, who have been firm allies throughout the conflict waged by Russia on its neighbour, shared a call on Monday afternoon, the day before the the formal appointment of the new PM.

Mr Johnson thanked Mr Zelensky for his "management and friendship" and said it had been "a privilege to work with him and assist him".

The outgoing Prime Minister has made several visits to the Ukrainian capital, the most of recent of which was last month, when he set out a further £54 million package of military aid.

"President Zelensky thanked the Prime Minister for believing in Ukraine and his folks and up to date on the latest progress of his armed forces within the south of the nation," the PM's official spokesman said.

"The Prime Minister stated he was satisfied the Ukrainian forces may proceed to achieve pushing again Russian forces and added that the UK stays steadfast in its assist.

"The Prime Minister told President Zelensky it had been a privilege to work with him and support him and the leaders agreed to stay in close touch as friends."

The spokesman stated the Prime Minister didn't focus on his successor, Liz Truss, with the Ukrainian chief.
