atie Boulter received her first WTA title after beating fellow Briton Jodie Burrage within the last of the Nottingham Open.
In the primary all-British tour-level last in 46 years, Boulter outplayed her good pal to win 6-3, 6-3.
Boulter, who's from Leicester and considers Nottingham her residence event, stated: “I dreamed of this moment, to win this tournament, as a little girl when I was four years old.
“Having come here as a fan and now as a player and somehow find a way to win it means more than everything to me.
"I’ve played so many British players, we appreciate an all-British final and what an incredible achievement it is.”
Earlier on Sunday, Andy Murray received the lads’s title on the Nottingham Open to take care of his good Wimbledon build-up.
Per week after victory within the Surbiton Trophy, Murray made it back-to-back wins on grass with a 6-4, 6-4 win over France’s Arthur Cazaux.
