An 11-year-old boy has been killed and two others critically injured in a crash involving a automotive and a lorry close to Stonehenge.

The collision occurred on the A303 on Saturday evening and concerned a black BMW and a lorry that was parked in a layby, Wiltshire Police mentioned.

The boy, who was from London, was declared lifeless on the scene.

The driver of the automotive, a person in his 40s, and a 15-year-old male passenger, each from London, suffered probably life-changing accidents.

They have been taken to Southampton General Hospital.

The driver of the lorry was unhurt.

Acting Inspector Will Ayres, of the roads policing unit, mentioned: "This is a tragic incident the place a younger boy has misplaced his life and two extra individuals are in a critical situation in hospital.
