A 14-year-old boy died of "natural causes" at a Scottish college, police have mentioned.

Hamdan Aslam, a pupil at St Kentigern’s Academy in Blackburn, West Lothian, died on Tuesday after officers have been referred to as to the college amid issues for {the teenager}.

A autopsy examination confirmed he died of pure causes, authorities mentioned.

In an announcement on social media, Hamdan's household urged individuals on social media to take away posts regarding hypothesis round his dying, including: "It was God's will."

In an announcement, Andrew Sharkey, Headteacher of St Kentigern’s Academy, mentioned: "Hamdan was an exemplary student and he will be hugely missed by the St Kentigern’s community.

"Hamdan was a brilliant and diligent younger man, and conscientious in his research. He was very pleasant, widespread along with his classmates and he had a detailed group of mates. He was at all times well mannered and well-mannered at school and widespread along with his academics. Hamdan was form and considerate in all he did and he was at all times blissful, with a ravishing smile.

"Our thoughts and prayers remain with his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

"Our devoted group at St Kentigern’s Academy will proceed to offer help to pupils and we'd ask that the household’s privateness is revered."

According to the Daily Record, staff from the school, which was once attended by singing sensation Lewis Capaldi, attempted to perform CPR on the youngster who was feeling unwell.

Friends have since laid floral tributes to the pupil, mourning the loss of their popular school friend.

Among the tributes paid to Hamdan was one floral bouquet, with a note that read: "We are going to overlook seeing you on daily basis and listening to you snigger on the most random occasions. I hope you've got a ball up there.

"We will be watching for you in the sky and we hope you look down on us proud. We love you so much."

Another added: "Your precious life is gone too quickly. May you rest in peace forever."

A 3rd described how the coed "will be missed by so many" and that whereas Hamdan was "gone" he would "never be forgotten".

It added: "You will always have a special place in our hearts."

After Hamdan's dying was confirmed, his cousin, 29-year-old Zain Mohammed, mentioned that {the teenager} was "gentle and wouldn't hurt a fly".

He concluded: "He was a good boy and so family-oriented. We can’t believe he is gone. It’s a devastating loss. We loved him very much.”

Suspicions around Hamdan's death were seen across social media, leading the tragic youngster's family to ask for posts relating to their relationship to be taken down.

In a statement, the family added: "We know that Hamdan's loss is being deeply felt by his mates and academics and we'd urge those that have engaged in rumours on social media to cease, it's untruthful and compounding our grief.

"Please take down the posts, the running commentary is unhelpful to the children, teachers and our family who have been left deeply traumatised and devastated.

"We know that Hamdan's academics and mates did the whole lot potential to avoid wasting his life and for that our household will for ever be grateful to them."
