British rapper Slowthai has appeared in court docket charged with two counts of rape.

The 28-year-old, whose actual title is Tyron Frampton, was bailed at Oxfordshire Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

Frampton will subsequent seem at Oxford Crown Court on 15 June, a court docket official has mentioned.

The rapper was nominated for a Grammy for the tune My High in 2021 and the Mercury prize for his album Nothing Great About Britain in 2019.

He has received gongs on the NME Awards and UK Music Video Awards.
