Independiente del Valle have confirmed that they've offered Kendry Paez to Chelsea, with the midfielder set to go to Stamford Bridge when he turns 18.

The Ecuador prospect has been signed in a deal value £17.5million, with the Blues satisfied that the 16-year-old will develop right into a star as he continues his progress.

Independiente del Valle director Santiago Morales mentioned: “Today, I can say that Kendry Paez, in two years’ time, will go to Chelsea.

"We received offers from Borussia Dortmund and Manchester United, Chelsea were the team that showed the most interest.”
