Terror suspect Daniel Khalife had already tried to flee HMP Wandsworth final month, it has been claimed.

But this primary alleged try, which it's claimed would have seen the 21-year-old strap himself below a lorry because it occurred on September 6, was thwarted after the straps snapped, in keeping with sources who spoke to The Sun on Sunday.

After the allegedly unsuccessful try on August 31, Mr Khalife is reported to have discovered a solution to reinforce the straps sufficient to maintain his weight.

Before he managed to non permanent flee from HMP Wandsworth final week, Mr Khalife was blatantly "bragging" a few doable future escape try, a prisoner who served alongside the 21-year-old as he was held whereas awaiting trial on terror-related expenses has claimed.

He advised the Mirror: "He always used to brag about escaping from prison. He used to say 'Just watch me!' It was an open secret because he was so blatant about it."
