An easyJet flight from the UK to Turkey was diverted to Greece after two passengers turned drunk, unruly and began shouting at different individuals on the aircraft, authorities mentioned.

The flight from Manchester to Dalaman took off early on Sunday morning however needed to change course as a result of behaviour of the 2 Russian males.

The pair, aged 48 and 39, had been arrested after the aircraft touched down in Thessaloniki in northern Greece.

They have been charged with disturbing the peace, disrupting transport and disobeying directions from crew members.

Officials confirmed there had not been a bodily altercation.

The pair had been launched pending a trial in November, which they don't have to attend in individual, however will probably be represented by legal professionals.

After arriving in Greece with out a visa, the lads had been taken to a police station however had been anticipated to be placed on a flight to Turkey.
