Eight folks have been injured, together with a person who has been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, after a head-on collision. The incident that noticed a crash between a automobile and a taxi occurred on Ox Leys Road, Sutton Coldfield, simply after 19:15 BST on Saturday.

Six of the taxi's passengers had been rescued from the wreckage by firefighters and brought to hospital, whereas, the seventh passenger and the motive force of the automobile have sustained minor accidents.

A person, 22, has been arrested on suspicion of driving whereas over the restrict and inflicting damage by harmful driving, West Midlands police stated.
