Kanye West's Twitter account has been reinstated after an virtually eight-month ban over offensive tweets.

Musk had beforehand reinstated former US President Donald Trump's account after conducting a ballot during which some 14.8 million Twitter customers had voted with 51.8% voting in favour of the reinstatement.

But Mr Trump had stated that he had little interest in returning to Twitter and would stick together with his new platform Truth Social.
