lex Hales has introduced his retirement from worldwide cricket on the age of 34.
Hales indicators off his England profession with 156 appearances throughout the three codecs, together with his final recreation coming in England's T20 World Cup remaining win towards Pakistan.
Batter Hales, who will proceed to play for Nottinghamshire and in T20 franchises all over the world, excelled within the shorter types of the sport, ending with 2,419 runs from 70 one-day internationals whereas scoring 2,074 runs in 75 20-over innings.
His time within the England set-up was not with out controversy, although, as in 2017 he was concerned with Ben Stokes in an incident outdoors a Bristol nightclub that noticed him charged by the England and Wales Cricket Board and subsequently suspended.
He was banned once more in 2019 after testing optimistic for a leisure drug, an indiscretion which ended his 50-over profession.
Hales mirrored on his profession with satisfaction, saying on Instagram: "It has been an absolute privilege to have represented my country on 156 occasions across all three formats.
"I've made some recollections and a few friendships to final a lifetime and I really feel that now could be the appropriate time to maneuver on.
"Throughout my time in an England shirt I've experienced some of the highest highs as well as some of the lowest lows. It's been an incredible journey and I feel very content that my last game for England was winning a World Cup final.
"Throughout the ups and downs I've all the time felt an enormous quantity of help from my mates, household and undoubtedly the perfect followers in world cricket.
"I look forward to continuing to play for Notts and experiencing more franchise cricket around the world."
