urope’s highest free public viewing gallery is to open within the City subsequent month with dramatic vistas over the Square Mile’s rising forest of skyscrapers.
Horizon 22 on the 58th degree of the 22 Bishopsgate tower - the tallest building within the City - will likely be launched on 27 September.
It will likely be open 7 days every week from 10am, closing at 6pm on weekdays, 5pm on Saturdays and 4pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Visitors will likely be whisked up in 41 seconds in one of many two excessive pace lifts travelling at as much as 8 metres per second.
The gallery stands at 254 metres above floor, marginally larger than the 244 metre excessive View from the Shard on the 72nd degree of London’s tallest skyscraper throughout the river, though that prices £32 to go to.
