'Extraordinarily massive lizard' stored in canine kennel after being present in Guernsey

The reptile, which is sort of three toes lengthy, is so large it was stored in a canine kennel by rescuers on the Guernsey Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA).

Mr Neil Hughes mentioned: "When we are called out to lizards they are often bearded dragons or sometimes tiny lizards found in suitcases from holidaymakers returning home.
