arth Brooks has addressed critics after he stated his bar would serve Bud Light.
The “Friends in Low Places” singer stated final week that his new bar in Nashville, Tennessee, would serve “all kinds of beer,” together with Bud Light.
On Wednesday, Brooks informed Billboard Country Live: “We’re going to serve every brand of beer. We are. We just are. It’s not our decision to make. Our thing is this: If you come into this house, love one another. If you’re an a--hole, there are plenty of other places on Lower Broadway to go.”
But indignant followers took to Twitter, claiming Garth was "pandering to the left" and was a "predator".
One tweeter commented in assist: "Garth Brooks was singing about gay rights in 1992, and these stupid conservatives are mad he’s going to sell Bud Light."
In April 2023, the model partnered with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in a social media advert and has since change into a goal of a right-wing backlash.
Other folks upset along with his feedback stated they might burn their merchandise, and that "any self-respecting man wouldn’t be caught dead in his bar".
Brooks addressed the controversy Monday on his livestream “Inside Studio G,” acknowledging that there had been “quite a little bit of a stir” because the Billboard occasion.
