Giant billboards that includes an OnlyFans mannequin carrying a bra have been cleared by the UK's promoting watchdog following a string of complaints.

The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) stated as a result of the billboards weren't "overtly sexual" and "did not objectify women" they had been "unlikely" to offend.

It comes after the adverts, which featured a picture of mannequin Eliza Rose Watson and particulars of her OnlyFans account, appeared in 4 areas throughout London in June and July.

One billboard used was situated round 450m from a college.

They prompted 30 complaints to the ASA - with these behind the complaints describing the image as inappropriate for show the place youngsters may see.

However, the ASA dominated that whereas Watson's clothes was revealing, the picture didn't characteristic any nudity, and the pose adopted by her was "no more than mildly sexual".

"The ad was shown on several posters throughout London, which was an untargeted medium, and was therefore likely to be seen by a large number of people, including children.

"However, as a result of we thought-about the advert was not overtly sexual and didn't objectify girls, we subsequently concluded the advert was unlikely to trigger severe or widespread offence and had not been positioned irresponsibly."

The ASA dominated no additional motion was obligatory.

The proprietor of the poster websites, Amplify Outdoor, stated not one of the advertisements had been displayed inside 100m of a college - with the closest being 450m.

The billboards, in Bruce Grove in Tottenham, Norwood High Street in Lambeth, and Deansbrook Road in Edgware, had been later taken over by environmental campaigners Global Witness.
