An 11-year-old who was attacked by an XL bully prompting the Home Secretary to look into banning the breed has stated she desires it "to go and die" after leaving her injured.

Ana Paun, 11, instructed Sky News: "I want him to go and die. I think the dogs like that should be banned. The owner should be in prison. He never did anything. He just let the dog bite everyone."

Police want to converse to the proprietor of the animal that attacked three folks in Birmingham because the animal stays in "secure kennels".

Home Secretary Suella Braverman stated on Sunday she was looking for "urgent advice" about banning the American XL bully breed after footage emerged displaying the surprising assault at a petroleum station in Bordesley Green.

This morning, a row broke out on Good Morning Britain after dog trainer Kay Taiwo pushed back at calls for a ban as she claimed the breed was "not bred or made to be extremely aggressive".

But a dog behavioural expert Stan Rawlinson slammed the trainer, saying: "This canine just isn't a pleasant canine".

A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We're investigating after three folks had been bitten by a canine in Birmingham yesterday. An 11-year-old lady ran previous the canine because it was being walked by its proprietor in Bordesley Green, when she was bitten. Two males intervened however had been bitten and left with accidents to their shoulders and arms.

"They were taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries. The dog was initially taken to a local vet to be checked over before being taken into secure kennels while the investigation continues. The owner of the dog has been spoken to by officers."
