Harrison Ford has mentioned he's "deeply moved and humbled" to obtain an honorary Palme d'Or on the Cannes Film Festival.
The veteran American actor was offered with the accolade forward of the world debut screening of his new movie Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny on Thursday.
The movie sees the 80-year-old return because the globe-trotting archaeologist greater than 40 years after his first stint in Raiders Of The Lost Ark in 1981.
It stars Fleabag actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who performs Indiana Jones's goddaughter Helena Shaw, and Mads Mikkelsen.
Ahead of the screening, audiences have been proven a spotlight reel of the actor's profession earlier than he took to the stage to current the movie.
Becoming emotional, he mentioned: "They say when you're about to die you see your life flash before your eyes. And I just saw my life flash before my eyes.

"My life has been enabled by my lovely wife, supporting my passion and my dreams and I'm grateful."
Addressing the viewers instantly, he continued: "And I really like you too.
"You've given my life purpose and meaning and I'm grateful for that. So grateful to have the opportunity to work with others like Phoebe (Waller-Bridge) and Mads (Mikkelsen).
"I'm deeply moved by this honour, and humbled - however I acquired a film you gotta see. So let me get out of the way in which."
