A person has died whereas he was making an attempt to rescue youngsters at a waterfall in Brecon Beacons National Park. 

The incident occurred within the Bannau Brycheiniog on September 1 at round 4.40pm.

“At shortly after 7pm the fire service located the body of 27-year-old Mohananeethan Muruganantharaja in the water with an underwater camera.

"Unfortunately, as a consequence of situations on the web site restoration was not doable that night, and specialist divers had been introduced within the following morning. 

“His household is being supported by specialist officers."
