Holocaust survivor has obtained warfare medals she by no means knew she was entitled to on her one centesimal birthday.
Henny Franks fled Nazi persecution in Cologne, western Germany, on the kindertransport as an adolescent.

Henny stated she was “overcome with joy” to lastly obtain the medals and stated it had been an “amazing” day.
