orginho’s agent has talked up the potential for the Arsenal midfielder making a return to Italy.
The 31-year-old joined Arsenal in January from rivals Chelsea, bringing a untimely finish to what was his fifth season at Stamford Bridge, and added expertise and depth to the Gunners midfield for the Premier League run-in.
However, Jorginho has needed to accept three appearances firstly of this season, with the summer time arrivals of Declan Rice and Kai Havertz leading to him seemingly falling down the pecking order in north London.
The Italian has been linked with a transfer to Fenerbahce, with the Turkish switch window remaining open past the Premier League deadline, although Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos dismissed those rumours.
Santos although did counsel a transfer to a Serie A membership can be extra interesting to Jorginho, who spent 4 years at Napoli earlier than he signed for Chelsea.
“Italy is always in our hearts, never say never,” Santos mentioned through Tutto Napoli.
“If there is an Italian team that needs Jorge and his characteristics, we will see what will happen.”
On what the midfielder can convey to a membership, Santos added: “Jorginho’s characteristic is unique and needed by all teams in the world. When the coach needs that characteristic he will call Jorge.”
