A person and a girl have been charged with the homicide of a two-year-old woman in Ipswich.

The girl was found by police in an Ipswich property on Sidegate Lane on 30 June.

Scott Jeff and Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell, each 22, had been arrested within the city of Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, on 1 July and have now been charged with homicide.

An preliminary autopsy was performed on Tuesday and additional assessments are required, Suffolk Police mentioned.

The woman has not but been formally recognized.

The suspects, each of no mounted handle, have been remanded in custody.
