The president of Microsoft has met with the chancellor amid efforts to overturn the competitors watchdog's determination to dam its deliberate takeover of Activision Blizzard.

Brad Smith mentioned in a gathering with Jeremy Hunt that he would attempt to work with regulators to win approval for the know-how big's $69bn (£56bn) buy of the Call of Duty creator, a authorities supply instructed the Reuters news company.
