Melbourne Stars have signed Western Australia left-arm pacer Joel Paris as they appear to bolster their bowling shares following a disappointing BBL marketing campaign final season.

Paris is about to play for his third BBL membership after stints at Perth Scorchers and Hobart Hurricanes. Paris has been a stellar performer at Sheffield Shield stage for WA having been an important member of their assault in back-to-back Shield triumphs which has led to his choice for Australia A in four-day cricket.

In 2021 he moved to Hobart Hurricanes to play extra T20 cricket however solely managed 12 matches in two seasons. His greatest efficiency got here in swinging situations on the Gabba final season when he took 2 for 15 from 4 overs, together with 13 dot balls.
