Just Stop Oil has denied any hyperlink to the girl who threw orange confetti over George Osborne at his wedding ceremony on Saturday. 

In an announcement, the protest group addressed the second a girl was captured emptying out a bag of orange shreds over the previous Chancellor and his new spouse, Thea Rogers.

They denied having any hyperlink to the girl however recommended facets of her transfer in an announcement issued this afternoon. 

The assertion learn: "As much as we applaud the use of orange confetti at this wedding, we were not responsible."

It added: "If it was a form of protest - which is yet to be established - we applaud it and thank the person concerned.

"It was peaceable and never particularly disruptive, however received huge media consideration for Just Stop Oil's demand."

The woman was initially thought to hail from JSO, as the group almost exclusively uses the colour orange in its protests.
