Lahiru Thirimanne broadcasts retirement from worldwide cricket

Sri Lanka batter Lahiru Thirimanne has introduced his retirement from worldwide cricket after a 13-year profession.

Thirimanne, 33, performed 44 Tests, 127 ODIs and 26 T20Is after making his worldwide debut in 2010. He was a part of three T20 World Cup campaigns, together with Sri Lanka's win in 2014, and performed two ODI World Cups. He additionally led Sri Lanka in 5 ODIs.
