Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that Mohamed Salah is but to make clear his future to him because the Egyptian winger continues to be linked with a transfer to Saudi Arabia. "You know it's soccer, everyone seems to be speaking," said Szoboszlai. "We are actually pleased that he has stayed. We are in fact talking between one another however he needs to remain, he needs to be right here and be with us. We are actually pleased, we want individuals within the group like him."

Klopp was then asked for his thoughts on Szoboszlai's comments and replied: "If Dom mentioned that, nice. Mo doesn’t have to come back into my workplace and inform me ‘by the way, boss... [I’m not going]’. For me it wasn’t a topic for one second, to be sincere, in addition to the questions [from the outside]."

Salah remains tied down to Liverpool until the summer of 2025 after signing a new long-term contract with the Reds last year. He has already chipped in with four goal contributions in as many Premier League matches this season and will be hoping to maintain his impressive form for as long as possible.
