The mom of Luis Rubiales has reportedly been taken to hospital amid her starvation strike in Spain. Angeles Bejar started the protest in defence of her son, the under-fire Spanish FA president, claiming that he's the topic of a witch hunt.

Bejar is three days into her starvation strike. She introduced that she could be conducting the sit-in protest on the Divine Shepherdess Church close to Malaga on Monday.

Sky Sports report that Bejar has been taken to Santa Ana Hospital in Montril. It has not been disclosed why she is receiving medical care.
