25-year-old man has been arrested within the Royal Mews space adjoining to Buckingham Palace.
Officers on the royal residence responded to an individual climbing the wall and coming into the Royal Mews at 1.25am on Saturday, the Metropolitan Police stated.
He was searched earlier than being detained outdoors the stables.
He didn't enter the palace or its gardens at any time, the power added.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of trespassing on a protected website, which is an offence beneath the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act, and stays in custody at a London police station.
