The incident occurred at Garrowhill station in Glasgow at about 7.30pm yesterday night.

British Transport Police (BTP) stated the person is in critical situation in hospital though the kid's accidents should not presently believed to be life-threatening.

A police spokesman stated: "Officers attended and two people - an adult man and a two-year-old child - were taken to hospital where they both remain.

"Both folks sustained accidents from being hit by a practice."
