Man in 'life-threatening situation' after stabbing in London

A person is preventing for his life after being discovered with stab wounds in Sutton yesterday afternoon (May 23). Police went to Welbeck Road at round 2pm after receiving stories of a stabbing.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police has mentioned: “Police were called at approximately 14:03hrs on Tuesday, 23 May to reports of a stabbing in Welbeck Road, Sutton.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a 31-year-old man suffering stab wound injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment.

“His condition has been assessed as life threatening. At this early stage no arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
