The Athletic quote a supply who labored with Sheikh Jassim saying the Qatari billionaire was ‘quiet at first’ when working for Credit Suisse.

It’s claimed some executives needed to ‘help guide’ the 44-year-old throughout his early days at that agency.

But Sheikh Jassim was apparently ‘bright and quick on the uptake’ as he made his thousands and thousands and billions.

“He asked very good questions. He was very engaged,” an insider is quoted as saying.

The publication says there have been instances when Sheikh Jassim would calm down and ‘come out of his shell’, too.

It’s claimed that, in board conferences, the Qatari billionaire would confer with himself as ‘JJ’, typically even signing off paperwork that approach.
