Rasmus Hojlund's potential Manchester United arrival would come as nice news for Marcus Rashford.
The 20-year-old striker is predicted to be the topic of a gap bid from United this week.
And his presence in Erik ten Hag's staff would imply common minutes on the left for Rashford.
That's one thing he has revealed to Gary Neville on The Overlap he could be delighted about.
He mentioned: "I do prefer left. I feel like it's easier to stay in the game on the left, and from when I was young, I've always wanted to be involved in the game.
"That's why I feel I wrestle with enjoying centre-forward typically due to my endurance. You won't contact the ball for 20 minutes, after which your first contact is likely to be a chance to attain.
"You have to be mentally switched on. It's almost like a goalkeeper. They might not be involved in a game for god knows how long, but when it's time to make a save, they have to make it.
"I by no means get pleasure from that side of it, however I really feel like as I've bought older, I've began to get pleasure from it a little bit bit extra after I do play up there."
