Firefighters are tackling an enormous blaze at Southwold Harbour on the East Coast. Local residents reported listening to a loud bang with an explosion so loud it shook close by caravans shortly earlier than 1am at the moment (Monday, May 1). Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed they've despatched 10 home equipment from throughout the county to the scene of the blaze.
Pictures shared on Twitter present enormous flames and plumes of smoke unfold throughout the sky.
One native tweeted: "Massive explosion followed by fire in Southwold Harbour. Explosion shook the caravan."
Others instructed the fireplace had damaged out in a chip store on the harbour.
