A Metropolitan Police officer has been sacked after being convicted of sexually assaulting a toddler at a celebration.
PC Farhan Ghadiali carried out the assault in Buckhurst Hill, Essex, in September 2019, a jury at Chelmsford Crown Court heard.
Ghadiali, who was connected to the Met's Central West Command Unit, was discovered responsible in March following an investigation by Essex Police.
He is because of be sentenced on Wednesday.
Ghadiali has been dismissed from the Met Police after a misconduct panel discovered he had breached the requirements {of professional} behaviour in relation to discreditable conduct.
The panel discovered the actions which result in his conviction to be gross misconduct and he was dismissed with out discover.
Chief Superintendent Louise Puddefoot stated: "PC Ghadiali was found guilty of an extremely serious offence.
"If the Met is to safe each the boldness and belief of the general public we have to higher shield our integrity by rooting out these that aren't match to serve, reminiscent of this particular person who at this time has been dismissed.
"We are putting more resources into investigating allegations of such misconduct."
The Met stated Ghadiali had been suspended from obligation since December 2020.
