Russian officers have claimed Moscow was focused by a drone assault on Tuesday. The metropolis mayor, Sergei Sobyanin, claimed on messaging app Telegram the assault has precipitated "insignificant damage" to a number of buildings. He added "no one has been seriously hurt" within the alleged assault.

Residents in two buildings broken by the drones have been evacuated, Mr Sobyanin added.
