An SNP MP who had the celebration whip suspended has introduced he is not going to rejoin the Westminster group till it "is clear that the SNP are pursuing independence".
Angus MacNeil was suspended final Wednesday for every week following a row with the celebration's chief whip, Brendan O'Hara.
The Western Isles MP has now revealed he'll proceed to take a seat as an impartial till no less than after the SNP convention in October, and can solely rejoin if the celebration supplies "clarity on independence".
Posting a letter on Twitter, he stated his resolution was not in regards to the incident with Mr O'Hara.
Instead, he criticised the SNP and stated the celebration was "utterly clueless" on its independence technique.
Mr MacNeil stated: "I will only seek the SNP whip again if it is clear that the SNP are pursuing independence.
