A mum in Liverpool has claimed {that a} stranger approached her at a park and requested if she would "sell" her two-year-old daughter, Nevaeh. Megan Lunt, 22, says the girl complimented Nevaeh's look and mentioned the kid can be "worth a lot of money".
Megan declined the supply, however she later noticed two different kids main Nevaeh in the direction of some girls who have been ready by the bushes.
The mom reported the incident to Merseyside Police, however they've acknowledged that there isn't a proof of an tried kidnapping and no different related studies have been made.
The Mirror studies that Megan had taken Nevaeh to the park together with her companion David and three different kids on Monday (May 16) at round 4.30pm.
David took their two oldest kids to the lake whereas Megan went over to the sandpit with Nevaeh, and her older brother Harrison.
She mentioned whereas her two kids have been taking part in, one other two kids came to visit and began taking part in with them.
At round 6pm, Megan mentioned she felt a faucet on the shoulder from a lady behind her.
Speaking to the Liverpool Echo, she mentioned: "This woman was asking me what her name was, how old she was and said how beautiful her eyes were. I said 'yeah I know' and she said 'she would be worth a lot of money'."
The mum-of-four claims it was at this level that the girl requested her if she would "sell her daughter to her".
She added: "I said 'of course not, why would I do that?' and when I turned back around I saw Nevaeh being led away by the two girls towards a group of women by the bushes. I got up and ran over and so did my little boy Harrison. I burst out crying."
Megan went on to say: "I'm still in shock, I can't sleep and I don't want to go out because I'm worried about what might happen
"I used to be so scared. I could not have held onto each of my kids if I used to be alone."
"I simply wish to make different mother and father conscious of what occurred so nothing dangerous occurs to them. I do not need this to occur to anyone else."
The police confirmed the incident is being investigated after it received a report of suspicious behaviour.
A spokesperson from the force said: "We can verify we acquired a report on Monday 15 May of an alleged suspicious behaviour in Walton.
"It was reported that at around 6pm a woman, who was with two children, spoke to a mum and her children in Walton Hall Park.
"The two kids then started strolling away with one of many mumβs kids. The mom then took her baby and left the park.
