Sky's reporter harangued requested Musk, as he walked to an awaiting automobile. The reporter requested: "Has your ignorance and ego price Ukrainian lives, sir? A Ukrainian official says you will have enabled Vladimir Putin as an aggressor. What do you say to that?"

Previously, Musk has stated he cannot win in relation to permitting Ukraine Starlink entry. At the tip of January - responding to claims he was a "war criminal" for permitting Starlink for use by Ukrainian armed forces - he tweeted: "Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. SpaceX Starlink has become the connectivity backbone of Ukraine all the way up to the front lines. This is the damned if you do part.
