Former American Football star Tom Brady shocked Birmingham City followers by greeting them in a pub exterior their stadium on Saturday.

One fan current stated his look had "made everyone's day".

The NFL famous person, who recently became a minority owner on the Sky Bet Championship membership, turned up at The Roost pub close to St Andrew's Stadium earlier than the sport towards Leeds.

"Tom Brady is here and he's perfect," tweeted Kelsea Ravenhill, 26, from Birmingham.

"The film crew, Tom Brady, his bodyguards all entered the pub for his Blues entrance and introduced himself to all our fans," Ms Ravenhill advised the PA news company.

"The place is rocking, completely changed the atmosphere, he is just a sports legend!

"It's made everybody's day, was a pleasure to satisfy him and I simply hope we are able to get the three factors for him later now."

The seven-time Super Bowl champion has partnered with the membership's holding firm, Knighthead Capital Management, and can turn into chair of a brand new advisory board.

The membership says Brady, who's recognised as one of many sporting greats, will "apply his extensive leadership experience and expertise across several components of the club, including working alongside the sports science department to advise on health, nutrition, wellness and recovery systems and programmes".
