Noel Gallagher has stated writing his newest album helped him "come to terms" along with his current divorce.

Gallagher and Sara MacDonald introduced they have been getting a divorce in January this yr, after 22 years of marriage.

The former Oasis guitarist stated that he tended to "jump" on occasions in his private life that he may "articulate" and would assist produce "better art".

He informed The Sun: "Divorce is a long, drawn-out process, so it affects the mood of the album, for sure.

"So when things happen in your life that you can articulate, I tend to jump on them, and it makes for better art and it helps you come to terms with it," he added.
