Three individuals have been injured after a US navy helicopter crashed in Australia, the nation's defence ministry has mentioned.

One was left in a crucial situation and the 2 others are in secure circumstances after the incident within the nation's Northern Territory on Sunday, based on rescue helicopter operator CareFlight.

Sky News Australia mentioned the v-22 Osprey plane was carrying round 20 US marines off the coast of Darwin throughout an train.
