Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium was evacuated on Monday after an "unidentified object" was discovered on the pitch. At 1.31pm police have been known as to hold out investigations on the venue following its discovery.

The enquiry concluded that the merchandise was associated to coaching performed on the grounds through the weekend. An announcement from Dorset Police learn: "At 1.31pm on Monday 24 July 2023 Dorset Police received a report of an unidentified item having been found at the Vitality Stadium in Bournemouth.

"Following enquiries, it was established that the merchandise was associated to some coaching performed on the grounds through the weekend."

The Bournemouth Echo claims that security coaching was undertaken on the stadium on Sunday and {that a} faux gadget had not been taken away by mistake. It is known that police have been merely known as for precautionary measures and that everybody was allowed again inside after ten minutes.
