It comes after drivers for Avanti West Coast and LNER had already introduced additional industrial motion subsequent month, spelling disruption on each of Britain’s principal strains from London to Scotland.
Members of Aslef at Avanti West Coast will strike on 2 July, whereas drivers employed by London North Eastern Railway will refuse to work additional time from 1 July till additional discover.

“It’s time for the government and the companies to think again and look for a resolution.”
