“Yes I think he will become a good player but he cannot be Manchester United’s main striker week in, week out, not to start with.

"They are playing him once every three days to start with, they cannot play him as the main centre-forward to start with, that would put so much pressure on him and he might not be able to cope with it.

“I don’t think he has got the experience at the moment. I wouldn’t say it’s a waste of money, I would say in three years time it might not be a waste of money, but if you are thinking that he is going to be the answer to all of Manchester United’s problems this season, it’s not the right deal.”
