Rita Wilson has defined the backstory to {a photograph} that appeared to point out her husband, Tom Hanks, embroiled in an "angry" trade on the pink carpet.
The picture confirmed the couple arriving on the Cannes premiere of Asteroid City - and seemingly stepping into an argument.
Hanks is pictured with a screwed up brow, pointing at a pink carpet employee who's holding each fingers in entrance of him as if explaining one thing.
Wilson additionally has a finger raised and seems to be concerned within the dialogue.
The trade prompted headlines referring to a "heated altercation", a "rant" with a staffer and an "angry altercation".
But Wilson has now provided her model of occasions, which contradicted accounts that appeared in some tabloid tales.
"This is called I can't hear you. People are screaming. What did you say? Where are we supposed to go?" she wrote on an Instagram story.
"But that doesn't sell stories! Nice try."
She added: "We had a great time! Go see Asteroid City!"
Asteroid City is Wes Anderson's newest movie, a Nineteen Fifties sci-fi set in a US desert city known as Asteroid City.
Hanks not too long ago came out in support of the Hollywood author's strike.
He mentioned he was standing in solidarity with the writers and would even be on strike to champion the trigger.
