Robbie Savage was extensively panned by Twitter customers on account of his over-the-top commentary following West Ham United's historic victory over Fiorentina within the Europa Conference League last. The Hammers clinched their first main trophy since 1965 due to Jarrod Bowen's late aim after Said Benrahma's opener from the penalty spot was cancelled out by a positive volleyed equaliser courtesy of Giacomo Bonaventura.

There have been tears of pleasure on the pitch and within the stands as West Ham revelled of their newest European triumph after the ultimate whistle, though some followers have been left pissed off with Savage's commentary as he screamed down his microphone excessive of the celebrations. The former Wales midfielder was significantly excited as Hammers boss David Moyes joined in with the chants being sung by his gamers, prompting Savage to shout: "Go on Moysey! Look at Moysey, West Ham really are massive!"

His verbal enter didn't go down too nicely on social media following the post-match celebrations, prompting some viewers to accuse him of spoiling the second for West Ham supporters watching the sport on BT Sport. @toontastic was amongst these left totally unimpressed by Savage's commentary, posting on Twitter: "I feel sorry for the West Ham fans watching this, having their fantastic moment ruined by Robbie Savage."

@BGinge8, in the meantime, stated: "Would have quite enjoyed watching West Ham win this if not for Robbie Savage trying desperately to get an iconic quote on commentary every 30 seconds the absolute whopper." Many different viewers provided comparable takes on Savage, with @MattClark08 including: "It amazes me how BT Sport think Robbie Savage offers anything for viewers. I didn't think he could be any more excruciating. I was wrong."

@BackseatsmanLFC was much more scathing in his assessment of Savage as he declared: "Robbie Savage is the worst in the business and it's not remotely close. BT Sport could improve their coverage immensely by replacing him with silence."

West Ham's gamers and employees went on to ramp up their post-match celebrations after the full-time whistle, with the Irons having absolutely banished their demons from final 12 months's Europa League semi-final defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt by placing issues proper towards Fiorentina. Hammers skipper Declan Rice was left in awe of the event after what could have been his final aggressive recreation for the membership, with the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal stated to be chasing his signature upfront of subsequent season.
